About Us

In 2012, Aeda branded the impacted area of SE Asian businesses along University Avenue the Little Mekong Business & Cultural District to launch its creative placemaking initiative. Since then, Aeda has played a leading role in elevating  Little Mekong into a SE Asian-inspired Cultural Destination Area.  Some examples include artist mural projects in partnership with businesses along the corridor, annual summer Little Mekong Night Markets, and a gallery that provides space for artists and creatives to present their work, engage audiences, hone their talent, and earn income. In addition, the organization offers comprehensive small business and financial education programs and services designed to support and empower Asian Minnesotan entrepreneurs.
