About Us
The Northside Investment Cooperative Enterprise (NICE) is a community-owned investment coop in North Minneapolis that purchases properties to create and maintain affordable housing and commercial space for Northside residents prioritizing Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC).

Community Ownership
Pooling neighborhood resources to collectively invest in real estate that benefits member-owners and the Hamline-Midway community for generations to come.
Anti-Displacement
Protecting locally owned businesses and preserving affordability by creating community-controlled alternatives to speculative development and outside ownership.
Racial Equity
Expanding access to ownership and investment opportunities while addressing racial, cultural, and economic disparities within the neighborhood.
Local Decision Making
Ensuring residents have a meaningful voice in neighborhood development through democratic governance, education, and cooperative participation.
